Chamber Ambassadors

Purpose: 

The Dunwoody Chamber of Commerce’s Ambassadors are members who volunteer their time to provide a crucial link between the Chamber and its members. They work to ensure that all members receive the maximum benefit from their investment. They enjoy the rewards of making new contacts, strengthening relationships and accessing a wealth of information and resources. Their primary responsibilities are member retention & recruitment, and assisting in planning and hosting chamber programs.

Some of the responsibilities of this team are:

  • Greeting all NEW members within the first couple of weeks when they join the Dunwoody Chamber of Commerce.

  • Visiting new members & inviting them to attend Member Orientation or their first couple of events. 

  • Introducing them to some other members that would be good future business partners for them. 

  • Getting re-aquainted with Renewing members and helping to get them more involved if they haven't been seen in a while.

  • Participation at events helping staff at the door with checkin, and to facilitate introductions of new members to others.

  • Member Orientation programs for new members.

  • As you can see, this group is an important part of the Chamber, but also is the most "out front" group - seen everywhere. So if you're looking for exposure and involvement, contact the Chair of this great group!
